Rename a batch of files by pattern — without uploading anything

No folder selected
How to use this tool
  1. Open index.html in your browser (works as a normal web page — no install).
  2. Click Choose a folder… (Chrome/Edge/Brave) or Or select files instead (Safari/Firefox) and pick the folder you want to rename.
  3. Type a rename pattern, using the token buttons ({name}, {counter}, {date}, {ext}) to insert them, plus any custom text you like.
  4. Check the live preview table. If anything is flagged as a collision, adjust the pattern until the warning clears.
  5. Click Rename files, confirm, and you're done — download the rename log if you'd like a record.

Rename a whole folder of files at once

Pick a folder, build a rename pattern with tokens like {name}, {counter}, and {date}, preview every before → after name, and catch naming collisions before anything changes.

Nothing is uploaded anywhere — everything happens inside this browser tab, on this device.
